Our Company Vision

At Rice Breeding Australia, we have a vision for the long-term future of Australia’s rice industry. We aim to introduce state-of-the-art rice breeding technologies to accelerate the development of new rice Varieties with a focus on increased water productivity. 

With our commitment to rice breeding, we will drive the acceleration of rates of genetic gain in the industry, support the increase of agronomic research, AgTech development and pre-breeding research. As a joint venture between the SunRice Group, AgriFutures Australia and the Ricegrowers’ Association of Australia (RGA), we will help Australia achieve the sustainable production of rice in even the most challenging farming conditions.
